Half Full Farm was founded by Traci and Al in the summer of 2016. Traci is a fifth-generation Washingtonian from Eastern Washington, who attended college on the east coast, returned to Seattle, then moved to an 11-acre horse farm in Central Washington. Al is a Midwest boy who always dreamed of the farm life, with a passion for gardening and the great outdoors. Boy (eventually) meets girl, they fall in love, and look for the perfect place to live their dreams. Imagine their surprise in finding this slice of heaven within commuting distance of downtown Seattle.
When not enjoying their farm and critters, Traci and Al both pursue full-time professional careers. Traci is a Partner in a well-known real estate and land use law firm based in Seattle, and Al is an Executive at a well-known consumer electronics company based in Seattle. They have two teenagers who aren’t too thrilled about barn clean up, but often suggest they should acquire ‘just a few’ more animals.
