The Everything Works Out Cocktail

The Everything Works Out Cocktail

At Half Full Farm, we have an expression: no matter how hard things seem, not matter how frustrated you get, Everything Works Out. In fact, when we found Kitchen Pig – holding a sign in his mouth – we decided that was the prefect phrase for him to showcase as our constant reminder. And we knew we found the perfect name for a cocktail.

We visited Italy a couple of years ago, and I really enjoyed the occasional Appertivo before dinner. Slightly bitter, using less familiar liquor like Campari and Aperol to form light, refreshing, palate-opening drinks. I wanted to make my own version, using other liquors I enjoy, especially in the summer.

This is a wonderful, tart, slightly bitter but refreshing cocktail. A few sips definately makes you feel like everything, indeed, will work out.
